He said that Russian defeat in Ukraine is key for Europe’s security, and that European leaders had agreed to set up a coalition to give Ukraine medium- and long-range missiles and bombs. Responding to Macron’s comments, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he had no plans for large-scale military involvement in Ukraine, while Germany, Sweden, Poland and the Czech Republic also ruled out such suggestions.
